Regular Season Round 3: Vichy Clermont - Orchies 86-84

A very interesting game took place in Vichy. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of Orchesien BC (1-2) to JA Vichy (1-2) 86-84 in the game for the eleventh place. Orchesien BC was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 27-19 third quarter run of JA Vichy. They made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American swingman Jason Williams (198-83, college: UTEP, agency: HMS) who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Dustin Ware (183-90, college: Georgia) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Rodrigue Mels (190-85, college: CS Northridge, agency: Three Eye Sports) who recorded 20 points and American point guard Ronnie Taylor (187-81, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: Inception Sports) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Five JA Vichy and four Orchesien BC players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. JA Vichy's next round opponent will be JL Bourg at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
