Regular Season Round 10: Tromso - Kongsberg 72-78

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Tromso (5-1) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Kongsberg (4-3) 78-72. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Tromso. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Tromso won fourth quarter 22-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Aareon Smith (193-93, college: Mo.-St.Louis) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Brandon Boggs (196-92, college: W.Carolina) chipped in 22 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side center Casiem Drummond (208-88, college: Georgetown, KY) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 22 rebounds and point guard Charlie Lee (175-92, college: Cleveland St.) scored 18 points and 7 assists. Kongsberg moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Baerum Basket. Tromso at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. Kongsberg is looking forward to face Baerum Basket (#4) in Bekkestua in the next round. Tromso will have a break next round.
