Regular Season Round 6: Valladolid - Clinicas Rincon 66-79

Everything could happen in Valladolid at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Clinicas Rincon and 11th ranked Blancos de Rueda had identical 2-3 record. But Blancos de Rueda was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Malaga 79-66 on Sunday night. Blancos de Rueda was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Sergio De La Fuente (198-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Pablo Perez (181-97, agency: Beo Basket) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Blancos de Rueda. Blancos de Rueda's coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Clinicas Rincon (3-3) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Blancos de Rueda dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Clinicas Rincon will face higher ranked CB Granada (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Blancos de Rueda will play against Araberri (#6) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the LEB Gold just one year after relegation.
