Regular Season Round 3: Fujian QB - Zhejiang CB 106-116

There was a surprise result in Jinjiang where Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (1-2) won against Fujian (1-2) 116-106. The game was mostly controlled by Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank. Fujian was better in second period 27-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank made 23-of-29 charity shots (79.3 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Fujian helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Willie Warren (193-89, college: Oklahoma) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 10 assists and 5 steals. Iranian forward Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami (199-83) accounted for 17 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Lebanese swingman Fadi Khatib (199-79) came up with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Dwight Buycks (191-89, college: Marquette) added 28 points and 4 assists respectively for Fujian in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fujian's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's next round opponent will be Beijing Ducks (#6) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
