Regular Season Round 4: BGEU-RCOR - COR-Borisfen 78-89

An interesting game for COR-Borisfen (4-0) which played road game in Osipovichi against 3rd ranked BGEU-RCOR (2-2). Top-ranked COR-Borisfen managed to get a 11-point victory 89-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BGEU-RCOR. The game was mostly controlled by COR-Borisfen. BGEU-RCOR managed to win second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Evgeni Sugonyako (199-92) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 rebounds. Ukrainian center Maksym Kozlovets (205-90) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five COR-Borisfen players scored in double figures. International guard Siarhei Vabishchevich (192-88) replied with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Yaraslau Kurapau (200-91) added 22 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) in the effort for BGEU-RCOR. BGEU-RCOR's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. COR-Borisfen have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Grodno-93. BGEU-RCOR at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. COR-Borisfen is looking forward to face GOCOR-Sozh (#8) in Gomel in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BGEU-RCOR will play on the road against Vitebsk (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
