Regular Season Round 7: Roseto - Legnano 100-85

There was a minor upset when higher ranked Legnano (3-4) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Roseto (3-4) 100-85 on Thursday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 15 points. It was a great evening for American guard Bryon Allen (190-92, college: George Mason) who led his team to a victory scoring 36 points (!!!). Naturalized Cuban guard Yankiel Moreno (189-90, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 19 points and 5 assists. At the losing side American forward A.J. Pacher (208-92, college: Wright St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import Nikolas Raivio (193-86, college: Portland) scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Roseto moved-up to ninth place in A2. Roseto will face higher ranked Chieti (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Legnano will play against Ravenna (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
