Regular Season Round 6: Kings - 36ers 106-84

We should not miss the game where eighth ranked Kings (3-7) against higher ranked Adelaide 36ers (5-5) where host Kings rolled over their opponents by twenty two points 106-84. It looked good early as Adelaide 36ers took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kings had a 33-17 second period charge getting the lead and Adelaide 36ers were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 84-106. Kings players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American forward Al Harrington (206-80) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and the former international guard Jason Cadee (186-91) supported him with 22 points and 5 assists. Even 22 points by American-Ukrainian point guard Jerome Randle (175-87, college: California) did not help to save the game for Adelaide 36ers. The former international power forward Daniel Johnson (210-88, college: Pepperdine) added 15 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Adelaide 36ers' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kings moved-up to seventh place. Adelaide 36ers at the other side keep the fourth position with five games lost. Kings' next round opponent will be higher ranked New Zealand Breakers (#3) in Auckland and it may be quite challenging game. Adelaide 36ers will play at home against Illawarra Hawks and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
