Regular Season Round 11: Hitachi Cougars - Chanson V-M 51-69

Everything went according to plan when third ranked Chanson V-M (9-1) defeated bottom-ranked Hitachi Cougars (0-10) in Hitachinaka 69-51 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Chanson V-M. Hitachi Cougars was better in second period 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Chanson V-M made 10 blocks. Center Miyuki Kawamura (183-94) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks. International forward Sanae Motokawa (175-92) contributed with 22 points and 5 assists for the winners.
