No shocking result in a game when third ranked Chanson V-M (9-1) crushed bottom-ranked Hitachi Cougars (0-10) in Hitachinaka 90-52 on Saturday. The game without a history. Chanson V-M led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Hitachi Cougars' 24. They outrebounded Hitachi Cougars 37-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. Guard Minaho Minamiminoru (167-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 5 assists. Center Miyuki Kawamura (183-94) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Chanson V-M players scored in double figures.
