Important game to mention about took place in Orvieto. Tenth ranked Torino (3-4) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 8th ranked Orvieto (2-5) 52-49 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 18-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Torino forced 23 Orvieto turnovers. Greek forward Katerina Sotiriou (186-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) fired 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American center Jenna Smith (191-88, college: Illinois, agency: Two Points) chipped in 6 points and 11 rebounds.
