Regular Season Round 8: Easo - Ardoi 70-63

Round 8 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Ardoi (3-1). They were defeated by seventh ranked Easo (3-1) 70-63 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Ardoi. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ardoi won third quarter 14-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Inigo Del Valle (188-87) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 assists and power forward Jon Urtxulutegi (201-96) who added 10 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Easo's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Ukrainian forward Anton Savitski (196-86) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and guard Pope Urtasun (187-80) scored 19 points. Easo moved-up to third place in Group A-A, which they share with Estela and Ardoi. Ardoi will play next round against Zarautz trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Easo will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Clavijo in Logrono.
