Regular Season Round 7: AZS PS Gliwice - Pogon RS 57-76

There was an upset when higher ranked AZS PS Gliwice (3-3) was rolled over at home by ninth ranked Pogon RS (3-4) 76-57 on Saturday. It was a great evening for guard Adam Wilkin (194-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Pawel Mol (180-87) helped adding 16 points. At the losing side swingman Daniel Pelka (193-80) responded with 9 points and 6 rebounds and guard Maciej Wasowicz (182-92) scored 10 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pogon RS moved-up to seventh place in Group C, which they share with Alba Chorzow and MCKiS Jaworz. Newly promoted AZS PS Gliwice dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Pogon RS will face AZS AWF M. II (#11) in Katowice in the next round.
