Regular Season Round 15: Bambitious Nara - Kanazawa Samuraiz 72-75

Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Kanazawa Samuraiz (7-6) edged on the road 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (4-9) 75-72 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Bambitious Nara won third quarter 23-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American forward Marshall Brown (200-85, college: Missouri) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Yuji Yuji (181-88) helped adding 26 points and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was Trinidad and Tobago power forward Julius Ashby (208-82, college: Colorado) with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American Josh Ritchart (206, college: Cal-Davis) scored 7 points and 13 rebounds. Kanazawa Samuraiz moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Iwate Big Bulls and Shimane SM. Loser Bambitious Nara dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. Kanazawa Samuraiz will have a break next round. Bambitious Nara will play again at home against Kanazawa Samuraiz (#7) and hope to win that game.
