The game between closely ranked teams ended with top-ranked Piacenza's (7-0) home victory over one of their biggest challengers Santarcangelo (6-2) 82-71 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was guard Giovanni Gasparin (187-91, agency: Interperformances) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Mattia Magrini (190-93) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds.
