Regular Season Round 7: Domino Inowr. - Asseco II 68-66

There was a surprise result in Inowroclaw where eleventh ranked Domino Inowr. (2-5) edged 4th placed Asseco II (4-2) 68-66 on Saturday. It was a great evening for point guard Michal Warchowski (187-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 9 assists. Swingman Przemyslaw Milak (191-93) helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Michal Kolodziej (199-97) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and guard Marcin Wielunski (196-96) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Asseco II's coach Sebastjan Krasevec tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Domino Inowr. moved-up to ninth place in Group A, which they share with TKM Wloclawek and Trefl II Sopot. Loser Asseco II dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. Domino Inowr. will face Basket Pila (#12) at home in the next round. Asseco II's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Gdynia to the arena Itago Gdynia.
