Regular Season Round 9: RIG Mark - Boras II 59-69

Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Boras II (4-3) defeated 11th ranked RIG Mark (1-5) in Kinna 69-59 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 10 points. Boras II dominated on the defensive end, holding RIG Mark to just 7 points in second quarter. It was a good game for forward Mohamed Nefatti (196-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds. Point guard Emil Lundstedt (175-94) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Alexander Karras (187-98) answered with 17 points and swingman Kevin Senghore-Peterson (194-98) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for RIG Mark. RIG Mark's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Boras II. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Jarfalla. Newly promoted RIG Mark keeps the eleventh position with five games lost. Boras II will have a break next round. RIG Mark will play at home against Helsingborg (#8) and hope to win that game.
