Very significant was Correcaminos' (#3, 4-3) victory against their biggest opponent Toros (4-3) 72-65. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-10. But Toros won second period 24-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for the former international power forward Jaime Lloreda (204-80, college: LSU, agency: Paris Global Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international swingman Isaac St.Rose (190-83, college: John Brown) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. Four Correcaminos players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Joel Munoz (183-80, agency: Paris Global Sports) came up with 21 points and the former international power forward Reyjavick DeGracia (203-81, college: John Brown) added 12 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Toros in the defeat. Correcaminos have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Toros. Correcaminos will play against league's leader Caballos in Aguadulce in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Toros will play on the road against Panteras in Panama City and hope to get back on the winning track.
