The game in Kongsberg was also quite interesting. 4th placed Baerum Basket (4-4) played at the court of fifth ranked Kongsberg (5-3). Kongsberg managed to secure a 9-point victory 75-66 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-66. Kongsberg dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Baerum Basket's 32. It was a great evening for American guard Aareon Smith (193-93, college: Mo.-St.Louis) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Mike Bruesewitz (201-90, college: Wisconsin) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and point guard Stian Mjos (183-89) scored 29 points and 5 rebounds. Kongsberg moved-up to fourth place. Loser Baerum Basket dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
