There was a small surprise in Lleida where tenth ranked Pardinyes-L. (3-5) won against 8th ranked Andorra II (3-5) 73-64 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 41-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Pardinyes-L. forced 27 Andorra II turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Pau Lopez (181-84) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 assists and guard Sergi Ruiz (190-87) who added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Ruiz is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard David Jofresa (186-95) responded with 26 points and Senegalese center Wally Niang (206-96) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pardinyes-L. moved-up to sixth place in Group C-B, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Andorra II. Andorra II lost third consecutive game. Pardinyes-L. will face league's leader L'Hospitalet on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
