Regular Season Round 7: Stal SW - Tur Bielsk Pdl. 84-75

Everything could happen in Stalowa Wola at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Stal SW and 11th ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. had identical 2-4 record. This time Stal SW used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Bielsk Podlaski 84-75 on Saturday night. It was a great evening for point guard Dawid Zagula (174-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Point guard Rafal Partyka (184-79) helped adding 19 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side forward Lukasz Kuczynski (194-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds and Arkadiusz Zabielski (197-84) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stal SW (3-4) moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with 5 other teams. Tur Bielsk Pdl. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. Stal SW will face AZS UMCS (#4) in Lublin in the next round. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play on the road against Polonia W-wa (#12) in Warszawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
