Regular Season Round 8: Milano Urania - Pavia 68-65
Date: November 14, 2015
There was no surprise when 11th ranked Pavia (2-5) was edged on the road by fourth ranked Milano Urania (6-2) 68-65 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was naturalized Montenegrin guard Dusan Stijepovic (193-88) who scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Michele Venturelli (188-82) produced 24 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Andrea Bartolucci (200-85) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Milano Urania have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Bergamo. Loser Pavia dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. Milano Urania will face Sangiorgese (#9) in San Giorgio in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pavia will play on the road against Crema and hope to win that game.
