Regular Season Round 8: Vasto - San Severo 69-77

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked San Severo (6-2) defeated on the road 13th ranked Vasto (2-6) 77-69 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Argentinian point guard Matias Di Marco (182-84) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Guard Leonardo Ciribeni (190-92) chipped in 21 points. Naturalized Serbian forward Marko Jovancic (195-93) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and guard Luca Di Tizio (195-90) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. San Severo moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Bergamo and Milano Urania. Loser Vasto keeps the thirteenth position with six games lost. San Severo will face Monteroni (#6) at home in the next round. Vasto will play against the league's second-placed Falconara (#2) and hope to win that game.
