Bilbao Basket (#7) forced the game against Valencia Basket (#2) into an overtime, but lost by seven points 104-111 on Sunday night. The game took place in Bilbao. But the guests from Valencia were better at the end. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 18-15 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 26-19. Bilbao Basket was plagued by 34 personal fouls down the stretch. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with FC Barcelona. Bilbao Basket at the other side keeps the seventh place with three games lost. Valencia Basket will face bottom-ranked Gipuzkoa (#18) in San Sebastian in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bilbao Basket will play on the road against Sevilla (#14) and hope to win that game.
