Regular Season Round 9: Hogsbo - IK Eos 69-62

An interesting game for Hogsbo (11-0) which hosted in Goteborg second-best IK Eos (6-2). Leader Hogsbo managed to get a 7-point victory 69-62. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But IK Eos won fourth quarter 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American forward R.J. Slawson (206-92, college: Jacksonville) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. Lucas Brehm (-91) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. point guard Adnan Karovic (188-88) answered with 20 points and 5 steals and point guard Nils Gjorup (177-92) added 9 points and 6 assists in the effort for IK Eos. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hogsbo have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Newly promoted Hogsbo maintains first place with 11-0 record. IK Eos at the other side keep the second position with two games lost. They share it with KFUM Central and Solna Branten. Hogsbo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. IK Eos will play at home against Talje Knights and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
