Regular Season Round 12: Haneda Vickies - Fujitsu RW 73-81

Bottom-ranked Haneda Vickies (0-12) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to fourth ranked Fujitsu RW (9-1) 81-73 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 42-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Fujitsu RW looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was international forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) who scored 28 points and 8 rebounds. International swingman Chinatsu Yamamoto (175-91) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Rina Sezaki (162-92) who recorded 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and guard LiQuan Luohe (165-91) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively. Fujitsu RW have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Chanson V-M. Loser Haneda Vickies still closes the standings with 12 games lost. They share the position with Niigata R.. Fujitsu RW will meet at home Hitachi Cougars (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Haneda Vickies will play against Mitsubishi K. and look forward to get finally their first victory.
