No shocking result in a game when third ranked Eskilstuna (7-2) beat at home 12th ranked Brahe Basket (1-6) 76-62 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Eskilstuna. Brahe Basket was better in second period 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Eskilstuna forced 23 Brahe Basket turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Eskilstuna made 7 blocks. It was a good game for guard Hannes Widell (183-94) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Spanish guard Julian Lopez (187-94) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Forward Johannes Hidirsah (190-95) answered with 23 points and Moahmad Sandeed (186-94) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Brahe Basket. Eskilstuna moved-up to second place. Brahe Basket lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost. Eskilstuna will have a break next round. Brahe Basket will play at home against Koping (#6) and hope to win that game.
