Regular Season Round 8: Porto S.Elpidio - Mola 86-76

There was no surprise when 15th ranked Mola (1-7) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Porto S.Elpidio (3-5) 86-76 on Sunday. Porto S.Elpidio shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. The best player for the winners was forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Luca Rossi (190-81) chipped in 18 points. Nicola Bastone (195-92) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and Francesco Didonna (190-94) added 21 points respectively for the guests. Four Mola players scored in double figures. Porto S.Elpidio moved-up to ninth place in B. Loser Mola keeps the fifteenth position with seven games lost. Porto S.Elpidio will face Bisceglie (#12) on the road in the next round. Mola will play against Martina Franca and hope to win that game.
