The biggest surprise took place in Torino where host Auxilium TO (2-5) edged league's leader Armani Milano (5-2) 85-83 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Armani Milano. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-14. But Armani Milano won second period 26-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 31 personal fouls committed by Armani Milano helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
