Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Udine APU (7-0) outleveled at home 6th ranked Sangiorgese (4-4) 74-38 on Sunday. Udine APU forced 27 Sangiorgese turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Riccardo Castelli (200-88) who scored 6 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Mauro Pinton (185-84, agency: Two Points) chipped in 14 points. Four Udine APU players scored in double figures. Udine APU's coach Lino Lardo felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Francesco Gorreri (192-95) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and center Stefano Scuratti (202-94) added 4 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Udine APU have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position in B with 7-0 record. Loser Sangiorgese dropped to the seventh place with four games lost. Udine APU will face league's second-placed Bergamo on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
