Regular Season Round 6: Grodno-93 - Tsmoki II 95-69

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Grodno-93 as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Grodno-93 smashed 3rd ranked Tsmoki II at home 95-69. The game was mostly controlled by Grodno-93. Tsmoki II managed to win second period 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Tsmoki II 40-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. Grodno-93 looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Dmitry Kuzmin (196-75) who scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international center Yuri Mishukov (205-85, agency: Mike Diesel) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Grodno-93 players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Maksim Lyutych (200-97) who recorded 22 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Andrey Stavrovskiy (185-97) added 14 points and 7 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Grodno-93 (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Tsmoki II at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
