Rather predictable result when tenth ranked Ironi Ashkelon (3-3) won against bottom-ranked Hasharon (1-5) in Ramat Hasharon 78-72. The best player for the winners was American power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds. Swingman Orr Leumi (192-96) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Billy McShepard (208-87, college: Valdosta St., agency: Blacktop Management) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Jamell Cornley (196-87, college: Penn St.) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Ironi Ashkelon moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Maccabi Raanana. Hasharon at the other side stay at the bottom position with five games lost.
