Regular Season Round 10: RIG Mark - Helsingborg 65-68

A very close game took place in Kinna between Helsingborg and RIG Mark. Eighth ranked Helsingborg (4-4) got a very close victory on the road over 11th ranked RIG Mark (1-6). Helsingborg managed to escape with a 3-point win 68-65 on Wednesday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But RIG Mark won third quarter 16-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded RIG Mark 43-27 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Casper Silfver (186-95) fired 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Erik Joelsson (198-97) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Alexander Karras (187-98) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and Oliver Silveira Rebo added 18 points respectively for lost side. Helsingborg have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Jarfalla and Alvik Basket. Newly promoted RIG Mark keeps the eleventh position with six games lost. Helsingborg will meet at home league's second-placed Eskilstuna in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. RIG Mark will play against Lobas (#10) in Lomma and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
