No shocking result in a game in Stockholm where fifth ranked Sallen (6-4) defeated 9th ranked Fryshuset (1-11) 71-63 on Thursday. Sallen made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. Sallen outrebounded Fryshuset 41-24 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international Kadidja Andersson (183-80, college: Minnesota) who scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Tiffany Brown (165-86, college: Georgia South) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!).
