Bottom-ranked Haneda Vickies (0-13) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 92-64 loss to sixth ranked Mitsubishi K. (7-4) in Tokyo. The game without a history. Mitsubishi K. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Haneda Vickies' 34. Mitsubishi K. forced 19 Haneda Vickies turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. International swingman Aya Watanabe (170-92) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and international center Risa Nishioka (184-97) accounted for 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Mitsubishi K. players scored in double figures. Guard LiQuan Luohe (165-91) came up with 23 points and point guard Rina Sezaki (162-92) added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for Haneda Vickies in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mitsubishi K. maintains sixth place with 7-4 record. Haneda Vickies lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. Mitsubishi K. will have a break next round.
