Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (1-13) was outscored on the road by ninth ranked Gunma (7-8) 87-60 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-60. Gunma dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Cinq R.'s 34. Gunma forced 20 Tokyo Cinq R. turnovers. American players dominated the game. Gunma moved-up to eighth place. Tokyo Cinq R. lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Gunma will face again Tokyo Cinq R. (#12) at home in the next round.
