Regular Season Round 9: Le Mans - Orleans 65-69

The game between second ranked Le Mans (6-3) and eighth ranked Entente Orleans 45 (5-3) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Le Mans was defeated by Entente Orleans 45 in a tough game in Le Mans 65-69. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Le Mans. Le Mans was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 21-12 charge of Entente Orleans 45, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley, agency: DTMones) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 6 rebounds. International guard Antoine Eito (186-88) contributed with 14 points and 5 assists for the winners. Entente Orleans 45's coach Pierre Vincent used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Robert Dozier (206-85, college: Memphis) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and the other American import guard Chris Lofton (188-86, college: Tennessee) added 16 points in the effort for Le Mans. Entente Orleans 45 moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Dijon and Strasbourg. Le Mans at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Monaco. Entente Orleans 45 is looking forward to face Chalon/Saor (#9) at home in the next round. Le Mans will play against STB Le Havre (#18) and is hoping to win this game.
