LEB Gold round 9 most important game was a victory of Palma over 3rd placed Castello 94-71 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Castello. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Palma. Castello managed to win third quarter 28-21. Castello's coach Toni Ten gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Palma (7-2) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with FC Barcelona II. Newly promoted Castello dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Melilla and Oviedo. Palma is looking forward to face Lobe Huesca (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Castello will play against Burgos (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
