Regular Season Round 10: SAP Vaucluse - Mulhouse 71-75

There was a small surprise in Sorgues where ninth ranked Mulhouse Basket (5-4) defeated 6th ranked SAP Vaucluse (5-4) 75-71 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 14 points after three quarters before their 30-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Mulhouse Basket made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. American forward Durell Vinson (201-85, college: Wagner) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Mourad Benkloua (206-92) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Daye Kaba (191-86, college: Marist) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Lithuanian forward Zygimantas Jonusas (200-82) scored 11 points. Five Mulhouse Basket and four SAP Vaucluse players scored in double figures. SAP Vaucluse's coach Stephane Dao rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Mulhouse Basket moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated SAP Vaucluse. Mulhouse Basket will face JSA Bordeaux (#15) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
