Regular Season Round 7: Audentese/N. - TTU 76-79

Bottom-ranked Audentese/N. (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 79-76 loss to seventh ranked TTU (2-6) in Tallinn. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 30-21. But Audentese/N. won third quarter 18-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TTU forced 23 Audentese/N. turnovers. Audentese/N. was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Mooses Kaja (198-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. The former international forward Kristjan Kitsing (205-90) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. point guard Siim-Markus Post (185-97) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and guard Kristian Kullamae (190-99) added 17 points in the effort for Audentese/N.Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory TTU went down to eighth position due to points difference. Audentese/N. lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. TTU will play against league's second-placed TU/Rock in Tartu in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Audentese/N. will play at home against BC Rakvere (#7) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
