No shocking result in a game when first ranked Kotwica (7-1) smashed on the road 11th ranked TKM Wloclawek (2-6) 75-54 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Lukasz Wichniarz (198-82) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Dawid Mieczkowski (188-89, agency: Promotex) chipped in 12 points and 8 assists. Five Kotwica players scored in double figures. Adrian Warszawski (201-96) produced 12 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Kamil Hanke (192-95) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kotwica have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A with 7-1 record. TKM Wloclawek lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. Kotwica will face Pelplin (#3) in Pelpin in the next round, which may be the game of the day. TKM Wloclawek will play on the road against Asseco II (#4) in Gdynia and hope to win that game.
