Bottom-ranked Canberra Capitals (0-9) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to fourth ranked Townsville Fire (6-3) 84-66. The game was mostly controlled by Townsville Fire. Canberra Capitals was better in fourth quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Townsville Fire made 25-of-30 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Townsville Fire outrebounded Canberra Capitals 38-23 including 25 on the defensive glass.
