Regular Season Round 7: Hapoel G/A - Hapoel Migd.H. 103-84

National League top team - Hapoel Afula (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Hapoel Migd.H. (2-5) 103-84. Hapoel Afula players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Hapoel Migd.H.'s players. It was a quality performance for American Brandon Brown (199-85, college: CS San Bernar.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 17 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Point guard Ziv Ben-Zvi (183-92) accounted for 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Brown is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) came up with 23 points and 5 rebounds and guard Itamar Mor (188-94) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Hapoel Migd.H. in the defeat. Five Hapoel Afula and four Hapoel Migd.H. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hapoel Afula have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Hapoel Migd.H. at the other side dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Hapoel Afula will play against Elitzur Yavne (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
