Regular Season Round 7: BGEU-RCOR - Impuls BGUIR 85-90

Premier League round 7 most important game was a victory of Impuls BGUIR over 5th ranked BGEU-RCOR 90-85 on Tuesday night. BGEU-RCOR was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Maksim Shustov (186-86) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. Power forward Anton Vashkevich (204-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Impuls BGUIR players scored in double figures. Impuls BGUIR's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. International guard Siarhei Vabishchevich (192-88) answered with 17 points and 7 assists and forward Yaraslau Kurapau (200-91) added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for BGEU-RCOR. Impuls BGUIR (3-3) moved-up to third place, which they share with Vitebsk and Tsmoki II. BGEU-RCOR lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Impuls BGUIR is looking forward to face bottom-ranked GOCOR-Sozh (#8) in Gomel in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. BGEU-RCOR will play on the road against Tsmoki II in Minsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
