Regular Season Round 7: Audentese/N. - Rapla 70-81
Date: November 24, 2015
Bottom-ranked Audentese/N. (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 81-70 loss to second ranked Rapla (6-1) in Tallinn on Tuesday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. The game was mostly controlled by Rapla. Audentese/N. managed to win third quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import guard Devin Brooks (186-92, college: Creighton) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Kregor Hermet (204-97) produced 13 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Sander Raieste (200-99) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rapla have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Audentese/N. at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Rapla are looking forward to face Parnu (#4) at home in the next round. Audentese/N. will play against BC Rakvere (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
