Regular Season Round 9: WKK Wroclaw - Rawia 71-75

There was no surprise when 7th ranked WKK Wroclaw (4-5) lost at home to fifth ranked Rawia (6-3) 75-71 on Friday. Rawia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for power forward Jakub Dryjanski (202-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Pawel Stankiewicz (195-82) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. point guard Jakub Kobel (184-98) answered with 26 points and 5 steals and swingman Dominik Rutkowski (196-98) added 22 points in the effort for WKK Wroclaw. WKK Wroclaw's coach Tomasz Niedbalski tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Rawia moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser WKK Wroclaw dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Rawia will face Otmuchow (#6) at home in the next round. WKK Wroclaw will play against Nowa Sol and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
