Regular Season Round 10: Zhejiang CB - North Control B. 96-85

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (6-4) beat 12th ranked North Control (4-6) in Hangzhou 96-85 on Friday. The game without a history. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank outrebounded North Control 45-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for American point guard Willie Warren (193-89, college: Oklahoma) who helped to win the game recording 32 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import forward Charles Gaines (201-81, college: S.Mississippi) contributed with 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank players scored in double figures. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's coach Ding Wei used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Uruguayan-Spanish power forward Esteban Batista (208-83, agency: Duran International) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) and American forward Dorell Wright (206-85) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for North Control. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Beijing Ducks and Shandong FB. Loser North Control keeps the twelfth position with six games lost. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank will face league's second-placed Sichuan BW at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. North Control will play against Guandong Tigers (#3) and hope to win that game.
