There was a small surprise in Mar del Plata where tenth ranked Quilmes MP (4-14) defeated 7th ranked Ferrocarril O. (7-10) 89-83 on Friday. Ferrocarril O. was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Quilmes MP made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game.
