Regular Season Round 10: Bayi R. - Sichuan BW 83-101

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Sichuan BW (9-1) defeated 15th ranked Bayi Rockets (3-7) in Ningbo 101-83 on Friday. The game without a history. Sichuan BW led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Sichuan BW forced 23 Bayi Rockets turnovers. Bayi Rockets were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for American point guard Justin Dentmon (183-85, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording 37 points (!!!), 6 assists and 6 steals. The former international swingman Da Meng (196-82) contributed with 16 points and 5 assists for the winners. The former international guard Shuo Han (196-86) replied with 14 points and 6 rebounds and forward Junlin Wang (200-93) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Bayi Rockets. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sichuan BW have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-1 record behind leader Xinjiang FT. Bayi Rockets lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with seven games lost. Sichuan BW will face Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#8) in Hangzhou in the next round where they are favorite. Bayi Rockets will play on the road against Jiangsu Dragons (#16) in Nanjing and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
