Regular Season Round 10: Foshan LL - Guangsha L. 126-133

Bottom-ranked Foshan is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their tenth consecutive match to fourth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (8-2) 133-126 on Friday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 33-28. But Foshan won second period 36-34. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga, agency: Priority Sports) notched 54 points (!!!) and 8 assists to lead the effort and Taiwanese guard Chih-Chieh Lin (192-82) supported him with 29 points. Even a double-double of 37 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds by American forward Jerrelle Benimon (203-91, college: Towson) did not help to save the game for Foshan. His fellow American import swingman Jabari Brown (193-92, college: Missouri, agency: Octagon Europe) added 40 points (!!!) for lost side. Four Foshan players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangdong ST. Loser Foshan still closes the standings with ten games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will meet DongGuan Leopards (#6) on the road in the next round. Foshan will play against Fujian (#14) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
