The game between Top Four teams took place in Dublin. 4th ranked host UCD Marian (4-4) lost to top-ranked Templeogue (7-0) 79-70. Templeogue players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The winners were led by guard Lorcan Murphy (182-94) who scored that evening 28 points and 7 steals and international forward Michael Bonaparte (196-82, college: Coll.of the Ozarks) supported him with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by American forward Alexander Zurn (192, college: Gettysburg) did not help to save the game for UCD Marian. Spanish forward Dustan Moreira (202-89) added 10 points and 15 rebounds for the hosts. Five UCD Marian players scored in double figures. Templeogue have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-0 record. UCD Marian at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Swords Thunder. Templeogue will play against league's second-placed UCC Demons in Cork in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. UCD Marian will play on the road against Belfast Star and hopes to get back on the winning track.
